Abstract:

Objective

To discuss the combined efficacy of Naoxueshu oral liquid and early hyperbaric oxygen for patients with supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage.

Methods

40 cases of supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage patients were included from January 2019 to December 2019, the hematoma volumes of whom were 15-30 ml. All the patients were divided into 2 groups randomly. 20 cases of the treatment group were given Naoxueshu oral liquid combined with early hyperbaric oxygen, and other 20 cases of the control group only hyperbaric oxygen. The difference in the change of Glasgow coma scale (GCS) and National Institute of Health Stroke scale (NIHSS) score between the two groups were compared by t-test.

Results

The GCS scores of the treatment group and the control group were both improved (3.32±0.544) vs (1.85±0.25), and the difference was significant (t=2.550, P=0.004); The NIHSS scores were both declined (3.98±0.257) vs (2.45±0.156), and the difference was significant, too (t=4.633, P<0.001).

Conclusion

Compared with hyperbaric oxygen only, the combined therapy of Naoxueshu oral liquid and early hyperbaric oxygen can improve the consciousness and neurological function of patients with middle and low supratentorial hematoma volume.
