Abstract:

Effective doctor-patient communication is one of the fundamental skills that medical students must acquire. To enhance residents' proficiency in the communication skills between doctors and patients, we trained the residents in neurology department with the mode of role-play in teaching. Both participants provided feedback and received guidance from one another, and the instructor offered a final summary and critique. This approach is characterized by its authenticity, engaging nature, and practicality.
