Abstract:

Objective

To compare the difference of digital analysis and dual energy subtraction CTA technology in two cerebral vascular image in image quality.

Methods

Retrospective analysis in January 2013 to February 2014 head CTA examination during the period of the clinical data of 36 patients, according to the different way of checking divided into control group and observation group, each group 18 cases, control group underwent dual energy subtraction CTA technology, the observation group received conventional digital subtraction CTA technology, difference comparison of image quality between two groups of cerebral angiography in.

Results

Observation group the subtraction of the success rate of 17 cases (94.44%), control group success rate of subtraction angiography for 18 cases (100%), and success rate of two groups of subtraction angiography there was no statistical significance (P > 0.05) difference comparing, but the image quality control group were lower than in the observation group, two groups of image quality difference, with P<0.05 for the difference had statistical significance.

Conclusions

With the development of dual source CT technology, dual energy subtraction technique of CTA shadow CTA technology of digital image quality is better than the reduction in cerebral vascular imaging, dual energy subtraction CTA technology is worth popularizing in clinical use.

Key words: Dual energy subtraction, Digital subtraction, CTA, Cerebral angiography, Image quality
