已有研究发现气象的许多特征对脑卒中风险、进展和严重程度有重要影响。越来越多的证据表明,气温、气压、湿度和季节等气象因素是脑血管健康和脑卒中风险的重要决定因素。了解气象的不同因素是如何单独和共同影响脑卒中的发生,可以更好地评估脑卒中,并有助于开发新的预防和治疗策略,以降低日益沉重的全球脑卒中负担。

Many environmental features have been found to have significant impacts on stroke incidence, progression and severity. Growing evidence shows temperature, air pressure, humidity and season are important determinants of cerebrovascular homeostasis. Understanding how different meteorological factors individually and jointly affect stroke risk can assess stroke better, and contributes to the strategy development of new prevention and treatment to reduce the growing global stroke burden.
