Abstract:

Intracranial atherosclerosis is one of the most common causes of ischemic stroke, and patients with intracranial atherosclerosis usually have a higher stroke recurrence risk. A comprehensive imaging evaluation of intracranial atherosclerosis will help us have a better understanding of its pathophysiology, as well as provide prognostic value in risk assessment. We hope to facilitate stroke risk stratification by reviewing the current studies regarding imaging markers and stroke recurrence, which can also give more evidence on imageomics-based precision therapy.

Key words: Ischemic stroke, Intracranial atherosclerosis, Stroke recurrence, Imaging marker
